As written by a pastor it refers to the Christian teaching and the Bible on many pages. I liked the way Merton presented ways of spiritual growth deeply based on the Christian tradition. Included references to the Christian mystics, among others the Desert Fathers. The book puts seven chakras on the social and health context. Myss tries to explain body problems according to one of the energy centers being disturbed in a particular unhealthy situation. I found “Energy Anatomy” interesting and easy listening book for my daily two-hours-long commuting. Additionally to the chakras-health issues, Caroline Myss also presented stories from her personal life including her experience as a medical intuitive, studies in theology and her professional transition from a publisher’s job into the teacher in spirituality and energy fields.
Here are basic pillars how Myss explained the key roles of the seven chakras:
The 1st Chakra: The Tribal Database.
The 2nd Chakra: Control.
The 3rd Chakra: Integrity And Honor.
The 4th Chakra: The Center Of Your Reality.
The 5th Chakra: Willpower.
The 6th Chakra: Wisdom.
